Batch Refining Line
Batch refining equipment has low investment cost, small floor space and simple operation, and is suitable for small-scale oil plants (1-20t/d). The main process steps are (1) degumming (2) deacidification (3) decolorization (4) dewaxing (5) deodorization.
1. Degumming : After removing the mechanical impurities by coarse filtration of the crude oil, the phosphating degumming method is generally used to remove the phospholipids and proteins in the oil. The hot oil or the steam is added to the crude oil, the oil is heated and stirred and mixed at a temperature of 50 ° C, and then the layer is allowed to stand, and the aqueous phase is separated to remove the phospholipid and a part of the protein. After hydration, some of the gum is still in the oil, which can be acidified to remove it.
2. Deacidification : In the degumming oil, the alkali solution is added, and the free fatty acid and the alkali are neutralized and saponified. Then precipitated out.
3. Decolorization : The pigment in the alkali refining oil can be removed by adsorption of clay, activated carbon or the like. The main equipment is a decolorizing pot and a filter. In the batch refining process, the decolorizing pot is also used for dehydration.
4. Deodorization : The decolorizing oil in the high temperature and vacuum state, the steam and the oil are fully contacted, and the gas is used to remove the substances that affect the smell of the oil and taste, increase the smoke point, and lower the peroxide value. The main equipments at this stage are deodorization tanks, vacuum pumps and high temperature shielded oil pumps.
5. Dewaxing : Various triglycerides constituting fats and oils have different melting point differences and solubility. At a certain temperature, the oils of different compositions are separated by cooling and crystallization separation. Through the current majority of oil plants using dry method. The main equipment is crystallization tank, filter and refrigeration unit.
